Prologis Green Bonds

Green bonds are used to fund investments in environmentally friendly projects in accordance with our Green Bond Framework.

Proceeds will fund investments in or refurbishments of properties that have or will receive certain levels of LEED, DNGB, BREEAM, HQE or CASBEE certification, or result in environmentally beneficial improvements to boost energy and water efficiency or support renewable energy production, such as LED lighting, cool roofing, and rooftop solar installations.

In 2018, Prologis became the first logistics real estate company with an approved Science Based Target (SBT): oto216.commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 21 percent by 2025 and 56 percent by 2040 from a 2016 base-year. Prologis also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 15 percent by 2025 and 40 percent by 2040 from a 2016 base-year.
